Remembering the way it used to be...

2024 Tractor Show: August 9-10-11

Our mission is to preserve the agricultural heritage of our region.

Northeast Michigan has a rich farming history and our members collect and restore the antique machinery that was used by our ancestors. Each year, on the second weekend of August, our club hosts a show of antique farm machinery in Alpena, Michigan.  The show includes working displays of antique tractors, steam engines, gas engines, sawmill, shingle mill, threshing, baling, an authentic log cabin and much more. Our showgrounds are 35 acres and includes a clubhouse, barn and camping area in addition to the display area. The show also includes a chicken dinner, bean soup (cooked in a cast iron kettle over a wood fire) on Saturday, pancake breakfast on Sunday, live music on Friday & Saturday evenings, and flea markets.

Alpena Antique Tractor and Steam Engine Club is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of Michigan and an IRS 501c3 tax exempt public charity.
